Most people who look into mindset coaching are not short on information. They have read the books, saved the podcasts and made the lists. What they lack is a reliable way to turn what they know into what they do, week after week.
If you know what you want but keep stopping short of it, or you are standing at the edge of a big change and cannot see the next step, a mindset coach can help. This article explains what that help looks like, who it suits, and how the three ways of working with me differ, so you can judge what fits.
What a mindset coach actually does
A mindset coach does not hand you a new personality or tell you to think positive. The work is more practical than that. A good coaching relationship gives you four things that are hard to produce alone:
Reflection. Someone asks questions that help you hear your own thinking clearly, including the assumptions you have stopped noticing.
Perspective. When you are inside a problem, every option looks the same size. An outside view helps you separate what matters from what is only loud.
Practice. Insight fades without repetition. Coaching turns an idea into something you rehearse, test, and adjust in real life.
Structure. A set time, a clear focus, and someone expecting your update make it easier to keep going when motivation dips.
None of this removes your responsibility for the work. It gives that work a shape and a witness. I am a Certified Professional Coach and a Silva UltraMind ESP instructor, and my aim in every format is the same: clarity first, confirm your core values, and then purposeful action.
Everyday situations where a coach can help
These are illustrative scenarios, not stories about particular clients. See whether any sounds familiar.
You know what to do, and you still do not do it
Picture someone who wants to launch a side project. Every Sunday they plan to start. Every Sunday, something else takes the evening. The gap is rarely about knowledge. It may be a belief such as "it has to be perfect before anyone sees it," or a habit of waiting until they feel ready. A coach helps you identify the belief, question it, and choose one small action to take before the next conversation.
You are in a transition
Imagine a manager who has just been offered a new role, or a parent whose children are leaving home. The old routines no longer fit, and the new ones are not built yet. Many people in this position feel pressure to decide everything at once. Coaching slows the question down: what do you value, what do you want your days to look like, and what is the first experiment worth trying?
The same pattern keeps returning
Consider someone who agrees to too much, burns out, resents it, and then repeats the cycle. Willpower alone rarely changes a loop like that. Seeing the pattern as it happens, and practicing a different response in small, low-risk moments, usually does more.
Why work with me
I combine professional coaching with mental training. In practice, that means we look at the thoughts and habits behind your results, and I give you specific practices to work with between sessions. The tone is direct and warm. I will ask honest questions, and I will also keep the focus on your goals and your pace, not on a script.
Coaching also works best when you choose the format that matches your situation. Here are the three ways to work with me.
Option 1: Personal one-on-one coaching
Personal Coaching with Paul Sahota is 10 one-to-one sessions built around you. Nothing is generic. We start with what you want, where you are stuck, and what you have already tried, then shape the sessions around that.
This format suits you if:
Your situation is specific, such as a career decision, a business challenge, a relationship pattern, or a personal goal that keeps stalling.
You want a private space to speak openly.
You would rather have the pace and focus set by your own needs than by a group.
The investment is $3,000 USD for the 10 sessions. Or $500 per session. Because the guidance is individualized, it is the most flexible of the three options.
Option 2: Silva UltraMind ESP
The Silva UltraMind ESP seminar is a two-day educational seminar that introduces Silva mind-training practices. These include relaxation, mental focus, self-awareness, and constructive visualization, all aimed at helping you work with your mind more deliberately.
It is a good fit if:
You are curious about mental training and want to learn the methods first-hand.
You prefer to start with a defined, short commitment.
You want practices you can keep using on your own after the seminar ends.
The seminar is $497 USD. Think of it as learning a set of skills in a concentrated weekend, as opposed to the ongoing, personalized conversation of one-on-one coaching.
Option 3: The Master Key System
The Master Key System is a six-month, 26-week live group program based on Charles Haanel's classic text. It runs week by week, so the learning builds gradually, and you practice alongside others who are doing the same work.
It suits you if:
You are serious about lasting change and want a long runway, not a quick burst.
Weekly structure helps you stay consistent.
You value learning in a group and hearing how others apply the same ideas.
The program is $4,997 USD. The six-month length is the point: habits of thought change through repetition, and 26 weeks gives repetition room to work.
How the three compare
Personal Coaching: private, individualized, 10 sessions. Best when your situation is specific, and you want guidance shaped around it.
Silva UltraMind ESP: a two-day seminar, educational, skills-focused. Best as an introduction to mind-training practices.
The Master Key System: a 26-week live group program with steady weekly structure. Best for sustained, long-term practice.
These formats can also complement each other. Some people begin with the 2-Day Silva UltraMind seminar to learn the practices, then choose a longer path when they know what kind of support they want. That decision is yours, and there is no single correct order.
Questions to ask before you hire any coach
What do I want to be different in six months? A specific answer helps you pick a format.
Do I need privacy, a group, or a short introduction? Your answer points to one of the three options above.
Am I ready to practice between conversations? Coaching supports your effort. It cannot replace it.
Do I feel understood in the first conversation? Fit matters more than any list of features.
A simple next step
If you are unsure which option suits you, you do not have to work it out alone. You can book a no-obligation 30-minute call with me. We will talk about where you are, what you want to change, and which format, if any, makes sense. If the answer is that you are not ready yet, I will say so.
Whatever you choose, the question worth asking is the one you started with: what would change if you had steady support while you did the work?
